The Spartans enjoyed a good week in sports. On Monday, September 14, Volleyball slammed South Kitsap 3-1 at home. The boys water polo team defeated Wilson in an away match, 16-7.
On Tuesday, September 15, Water Polo roundly beat Stadium 19-8 at home. The Girls’ Varsity Soccer team narrowly defeated Roosevelt in an away game, 1-0. Unfortunately, the next day at home, they lost 2-0 to Bishop Blanchet.
Then on Friday, the duffers ruled the day. The girls had a solid away win against previously undefeated Eastside Catholic in their first match of the season, 90-86. Claire Lunzer lead the Spartans with 25 points. Kiera Havill and Taylor Tye chipped in 23 each. The boys won too, 147-119. Sam Warkentin medaled with an even-par 36 strokes.
